While we strive to ensure that the process from signing up to making calls is as effortless as possible, we realize that questions may still arise. We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions with solutions to aid our customers. Some of the frequently asked questions include:

To sign up, simply click the sign up button at the top or bottom of the page on our website and you will be taken to the sign up page where you will be asked for your credentials. You can also sign up directly from the OTUBIO APP
Yes. In order to use Otubio, you will need to sign up and add call credit to your account.
To reduce fraud, we sometimes screen sign-ups if we suspect fraudulent activity. Usually, most accounts are activated immediately but some require review by our administrators. You will be informed if your account requires review and will be given a timeframe. Please note that all first time users will need to verify their account by way of a verification code sent to your phone numbers. This additional security feature is to help deter unauthorized use of your phone account.
No. We do not charge any hidden, maintenance, or registration fees. .
We accept most major credit cards; Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and PayPal.
Yes. Your credit card and contact info is secure. We use SSL authentication so your connection to our server is encrypted. Also, we do not store your payment information. Your credit card information is processed using one of the most trusted payment gateways in the world.
  • The minimum connect time is one (1) minute
  • We bill in one (1) minute increments
  • Simply click on the forgot username/password and a temporary password will be emailed to you with a link to reset/change your password .
  • The Otubio app uses both cellular and Wi-Fi. Check to make sure you have cell signal. Also check to make sure you have a good Wi-Fi connection if using Wi-Fi
  • If both connections are good and your call is still not going through, please check the contact you are dialing and make sure the number is being dialed correctly (include international prefix and country dialing code)
  • Sometimes, OS updates can also interfere with app functionality. Remove the app and re-install. Don’t worry, you won’t lose your data or call records. Once reinstalled, sign back in and try again

  • Yes. Your transaction is secure. We do not store your credit card information. We use one of the most secured payment gateways in the world.
    Your account will not expire as long as you adhere to the terms of service. Typically, unused accounts that remain inactive for a period of 6 months or more may be deactivated. Once deactivated, all unused balances will not be rolled over upon re-activation.
  • We monitor accounts regularly to check fraudulent activity. Once the admin has determined your account is not fraudulent, your account will be unblocked
